Mathilde Maire was born in the green and rainy lands of Vannes, Brittany in 1994 and moved to Paris when she turned 18. After graduating with a B.A. in English studies and a Master’s degree in communication, she is now a librarian and a cat-sitter. Ever since she was little, she’s been drawing and petting cats. She is inspired by mid century illustration and design and you can say she is slightly obsessed with the 1950s and 60s. Her favorite mediums are colored pencils, markers and digital.
